Job Title: Paul Hopkins’ Guide Dog

Time at QAC: I’ve been at QAC for just over 3 years and come to work with Paul as his Guide Dog. I’m his eyes and ears when we’re out and about, and while in the office to make sure he is safe when travelling. We are a symbiotic partnership. I mainly help Paul avoid obstacles; find curbs and crossings; Doors and buttons and steps and stairs.

I love being part of the All Formats Team and helping Paul make connections between the vision impaired community; Our clients and other stakeholders. This enables us to tell the story around why it’s important to use All Formats to create and provide your accessible information.

A fun fact about yourself: Out of 4,500 Guide Dogs, I’m the only one with the name Pyrgo.
